Beauty Notes

Skincare – Shooting in 30+C heat is always tricky, the skin needs to be prepped really well, you need to choose the correct SPF that won’t effect the makeup or create a bounce off the skin with the fast from the camera. I always go back to my Trusty primer from Dermalogica – with SPF30 & a satin finish it’s perfect for summer makeup.

Tan – To give Ella’s skin a warm sun kissed glow I used Naked Tan Goddess Instant tan all over, leaving the skin bronzed with a hint of shimmer.

Makeup – Gold shimmery tones on the eyes are perfect for beach shoots, a slight sparkle is young and playful without being too made up. I used a ‘Luster Eye Colour’ by Laura Mercier in Bamboo, buffing all over the lid, with a heavier concentration at the root. I massaged  Dior Nude Air foundation over the skin with my hands melting it in, and buffed over one of my fav cream blusher – Colour Convertible by Stilla  in Camillia.

Hair  – I applied Anti Gravity Spray by Kevin Murphy root to tip and roughly dried, lightly tonging with a 1inch barrel tong, then I applied ‘Body Builder’ also by KM from the mid section to the ends.
