Gossamer Magazine
waterproof makeupI love shooting swimwear, I get to play with my favourite makeup – creamy highlighters, shimmery bronzers, bright lips – so much fun!  On a recent shoot for a new fashion & lifestyle magazine Gossamer I got to do just that.

Shot poolside in Sydney, on a perfect sunny day with a killer team; it truly was an amazing shoot! My beautiful Texan model Chelsea from Chadwick’s was the perfect muse for our St tropez style shoot. For the first makeup look I wanted an orange neon lip to off set the white sunglasses that Stylist Giarne Wedes had chosen for the first look.

I used MAC lipstick in ‘Morange’, mixed with a small amount of MAC Lip mix pigment in Orange, I then took a dry MAC 217 brush a gently pressed in ‘Neo Orange’  over the lip to create a super bright, Matte Neon orange lip.The Second look was a slightly winged out eye with bronzes, golds, matte browns and highlighter.

A neural lip and a soft orange cheek to pull it all together. And I finished with a greasy black smokey eye, I used MAC’s Paint pot in background, mixed with MAC’s creme gloss texture. paired with a dab of “Benetint’ on the lips for a subtle bee sting lip stain!
