The elegance of red and white
15SydeymakeupartistfashionThe elegance of red and white shot by Toby Marosszeky, shot at dusk on location in Sydney. The hair and makeup  was a modern take on classic 1940’s Vintage Glam.  I went for an extended liquid eyeliner, and then smoked it out with a matte black shadow – ‘Carbon’  by MAC. Using an angle brush to trace back over the liquid line to soften.
A ruby red lip pulled the look together.

The models hair was actually really curly and past her shoulders, so I pepped the hair with Kevin Murphy’s anti gravity, blow-dried it straight, barrel tonged then pinned in place and left to cool. I then the brushed through with my Mason Person brush – essential when working with this style of style, shaped, rolled under and pinned in place to create a faux bob.
